About UGC Guidelines
The "UGC Guidelines" outline the criteria that User-Generated Content (UGC) must adhere to when accepted by websites operated by Kuropen's personal project, "Eternie Labs."
Scope of Application
These guidelines apply to websites where posting or commenting functions are provided, and whose URL domain names end with the following. This is also applied to contents indirectly posted to the websites via server-to-server communication from external websites, such as through Fediverse.
- eternie-labs.net
- kuropen.org
- kuropen.me
Definitions of Terms
- This Service: Refers to the websites subject to these guidelines.
- Server Administrator: Refers to Kuropen.
- Moderator: Refers to the server administrator or a person designated by the server administrator who has content management authority.
- User: Refers to users who post UGC to this service.
- Fediverse Server: Refer to Misskey, Mastodon, and other servers capable of server-to-server communication using the ActivityPub protocol.
- Remote Service: When this service is a Fediverse server, this refers to other Fediverse servers connected to it.
Copyright and Other Intellectual Property Rights
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights related to information posted on this service shall, in principle, belong to the user who made the post (or to the rights holder other than the user, if such exists, for the posted content).
- By making a post, the user is deemed to have non-exclusively granted the server administrator the rights of reproduction, public transmission, making transmissible, and adaptation concerning that post. If the posting destination is a Fediverse server, by making a post, the user is deemed to have granted the server administrator the right to sublicense these rights to the operators of remote services. Furthermore, the user shall not exercise moral rights of authorship in relation to these.
Naming Requirements for Posters
On this service, all users are required to set a handle name as their poster name.
This handle name does not need to be a real name, but it must be enough to distinguish the user.
AI-Generated Content Policy
When posting content created by generative AI (including links to such content, except when linking to content posted by others for critique purposes), the following requirements must be met:
- The person who executed the processing on the generative AI must be the poster themselves.
- The name of the AI service used to generate the content (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Galaxy AI, etc.) must be disclosed.
- When posting images or videos altered by generative AI, if there are rights holders other than the poster themselves for the original content, written permission must be obtained from all such rights holders, detailing the content of the alteration process (including prompts if the poster executed it by inputting prompts), and proof of such permission must be attached to the post. However, this does not apply if it is clear that the alteration is permitted by the copyright holder, such as when the original content is under a Creative Commons license and the use of content is in compliance with it.
Prohibited Actions
The following content must not be posted on this service.
Even if a type of content is not explicitly listed here, it may be prohibited if a moderator deems it to be significantly inappropriate.
Violation of Laws and Public Order and Morals

Posts that may interfare with the business of others, including photos/videos, which show details of personnel, equipment or operation, of facilities or deployment sites of the military, Self-Defense Forces, police, and other law enforcement agencies, as well as uploading files that were shot/recorded in violation of instructions from facility managers, are also prohibited. (Only permitted for proper whistleblowing.)

It is prohibited to post with automated clients like AI agent browsers. However, it is permitted when you use APIs provided as standard functions, like in Fediverse servers, or otherwise noted.
Political Activities and Recruitment Activities
Using this service for political activities such as soliciting membership for political organizations, or calling for support/opposition, voting/non-voting in public elections, is prohibited.

- Posts requiring age restrictions, such as adult images.
- Images/videos that may cause photosensitive seizures or other physical or psychological harm.
Handling of Prohibited Actions

Furthermore, if the content of a prohibited action is malicious or repeated, the following measures may be taken:
- Measures to prohibit new posts.
