Display based on the Telecommunications Business Act

In accordance with the "External Transmission Regulations" under Article 27-12 of the Telecommunications Business Act, we disclose the following information about the content transmitted from the services operated by Kuropen to external services.

Disclosure of data collection for security measures

• Currently, on some content on sites managed by Kuropen, for the purpose of preventing unauthorized use, we determine whether the IP address is a Tor node and the country/region of origin, and perform automatic blocking by Cloudflare WAF or blocking on the content side based on information from Cloudflare. For details on the handling of data associated with this, please check Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Disclosure of advertising

• For the purpose of introducing products related to articles, we may set up links to e-commerce sites. In this case, we will clearly state the operator of the linked site. By clicking on the link, the visitor is deemed to have agreed that information such as the access source IP address and the fact that they have transitioned from this site to the operator's website will be transmitted to the operator, and that the handling of this information will be in accordance with the operator's privacy policy.
• This site participates in Brave Rewards. For users of the Brave browser, depending on the viewing time of web pages under kuropen.org or by the user's arbitrary operation, the cryptocurrency Basic Attention Token may be sent to Kuropen or advertisements may be displayed, but these functions do not collect personal information such as the user's attributes or site browsing history.

Disclosure of access analysis

• This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics as its access analysis system.
  • For the purpose of reference in website design, Kuropen collects the visitor's country of residence, the domain name of the previously viewed page, the name of the OS and browser used, and the type of device (desktop or mobile) through this system. Cloudflare Web Analytics collects data in a privacy-conscious manner, without relying on cookies or personally identifiable information (such as IP addresses).

• Access analysis can be disabled by the visitor using a privacy browser such as Brave, and the user will not suffer any disadvantage for doing so.

Disclosure of web fonts

This site uses Bunny Fonts for its web fonts. Your browser may access the Bunny Fonts server to download fonts.

Disclosure of cookies

This site uses cookies for the following purposes. The cookies saved by this site's system are encrypted in principle, and their contents cannot be confirmed by third parties.

• Session management (saving of session ID)
  • The session ID is used to confirm that the user is in the same session while browsing the site. The session ID is deleted when the browser is closed or after a certain period of time has passed.
  • If you refuse to use this cookie, some functions may not be available for security reasons.
• User authentication for the management screen
  • Used to save authentication information for logging into the management screen.
• Management of privacy policy confirmation status
  • There is a notification message about the privacy policy on the site, but by saving the date and time you pressed the confirmation button in a cookie, the message will not be displayed until this document is next revised.
  • It is possible to refuse the use of this cookie, but in that case, the notification message about the privacy policy cannot be deleted.

Regarding the inquiry form

• Kuropen will, in principle, use all content entered in the inquiry form on this site only for the purpose of responding to the inquiry. However, if any act that violates laws or public order and morals is confirmed in the inquiry form, the content of the inquiry form may be provided to the police or other law enforcement agencies.
• When an inquiry form is submitted, the user's IP address and browser/device type are saved along with the content of the inquiry form, and Kuropen can view this information. This information may be provided to the police or other law enforcement agencies if the sender of the inquiry form has engaged in unauthorized use or is suspected of doing so.
• The content entered in the inquiry form, the IP address, and the browser/device type can also be viewed by people with moderator authority in MICROPEN other than Kuropen if the inquiry is related to MICROPEN (Misskey).
• To prevent unauthorized use of the inquiry form, we have introduced hCaptcha. Please check the privacy policy when using hCaptcha.
• The server that stores the information entered in the inquiry form will be located in the Republic of Singapore from July 24, 2025.

Regarding MICROPEN (Misskey)

• MICROPEN is a registration-based social networking service, and you will need to register your email address to prevent unauthorized use and for emergency contact from the administrator.
• When you log in to MICROPEN, your IP address at the time of login is recorded in the system. This will not be provided to third parties. However, this does not apply to provision to the police or other law enforcement agencies when acts that violate laws or public order and morals are confirmed.
• With the exception of your email address and password, the information registered as your MICROPEN profile is public information and will be disclosed to all users.
• The content posted on MICROPEN is naturally shared with the following users. It can also be confirmed by the embedding function or by direct access to MICROPEN or the remote service to which the following users belong. However, this may not apply in some cases depending on the scope of disclosure specified by the user at the time of posting.
  • The poster's followers
  • Users of remote services connected to the same relay service as this server
  • In the case that those users Renote (including boosts in Mastodon and similar functions in other remote services), the followers of that user
  • If the users listed above include remote users, all users of the remote service to which they belong
• MICROPEN is operated on a non-profit basis and does not display advertisements.
• All cookies and local storage used by MICROPEN are essential for the operation of the Misskey system. If you refuse, you will not be able to use MICROPEN.
• To prevent unauthorized use, we have introduced hCaptcha for some operations such as user registration for MICROPEN. Please check the privacy policy when using hCaptcha.
• The MICROPEN server is located in Japan.
